Private Practice Policy
Violinpop – Joshua Terry
A calendar of available dates will be provided for you to set up a weekly lesson time.
You can move your weekly lesson time at any point that is 24hrs before the lesson.
There are no makeup lessons, if you are absent, the lesson will not be rescheduled, and you will be billed the standard monthly rate. If you are going to be absent, an email notification is appreciated.
Information regarding days off is available on the website calendar plus two weeks of movable days throughout the year to be decided upon by the teacher.
Any additional days the teacher is absent throughout the year will be refunded.
You will be billed on a monthly basis, on auto pay. You may cancel at any time. Payments are through PayPal or credit card. If payments are not made ahead of time then no lessons will be given.
Late Arrival – The teacher will wait fifteen minutes before assuming the student is absent. The teacher will not extend lesson time for a late arrival.
Extended Absence/Summer Vacation – You may stop paying the monthly fee at any point, if you choose to leave, or if you are going on a summer vacation out of town. But you will lose your time slot and there may be a waiting list to return. If you would like to keep your time slot, let me know that you will be out of town, continue the monthly payments, and that time will be reserved for you when you get back.
Discontinuation of Lessons – You may cancel at any time. If you cancel at the beginning of the month and have already paid, there are no refunds, but you are welcome to continue taking lessons until the month runs out. A month’s notice is appreciated.
Audio/Video – Teacher reserves the right to record audio and or video at any time during lesson to use for any purpose (typically this is for online instruction videos).
Hold Harmless Clause – As the legal parent/guardian, I indemnify, release and hold harmless Joshua Terry from and against all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including hearing loss, that may be sustained by the student and/or the undersigned while working with or under the control and supervision of Joshua Terry.
